Really having a hard time deciding on what sand to use for my new 46g.

I started off with the ESV Ultra White Sugar Fine... and its just too damn white.. it looks like salt.

Then I was thinking about getting the Caribsea Aragamax Sugar Fine... but people are telling me that IF I ever wanted to do a SPS tank, which would require some more flow.. there would be a constant sand storm in my tank.

So I've came to the conclusion, with the help of Pauliewalnuts that I should leave my options open, while of course still appealing to my taste (aesthetically).

So I'm pretty sure I want to get either one of these sands.. but could use some input..

The first and MORE DESIRABLE (for me at least)

is Aragamax Select

Its a bit bigger than the sugar fine... I was wondering if this would still create a sand is easily disturbed?

and my second.. but less appealing.. but still seems to be a good choice sand.. haha

Aragamax Special Reef Grade

The only thing I don't like about the latter sand, is that its a little to "rocky" looking.. unless this picture of it sucks.. haha.

I need to get my order in to Tito (Gotham Aquatics) today, so I can get my sand tomorrow... haha.

oh then the pic is misleading. it looked more like crushed coral. best bet is to go to a LFS and look at what they have, then google that brand and type. thats what i did.

Thanks Dr. Harry!

I actually found a few pics of the Special Reef Grade sand on RC, and it actually looks pretty good. Not too big, and not too small.

Think thats what I'll go with.

Afterall (as Paulie stated)... EVERYONE at one point or another goes for SPS... hahaha.

Thanks for the input guys!
