Ok, I got everything setup this past weekend... I used this as a chance to take apart my sump, clean everything and rearrange it a little better. I'll put up some pics this weekend.

Got a few questions:

I dumped some pods into the fuge once it was up and running but I don't see any in the chaeto. I guess they're pretty small... should I be able to see them though? Do I need to feed the fuge?

I have to get a timer for the light for my chaeto so right now I've been leaving it on 24 hours. I've read this is ok to keep culpera from going sexual so I'm thinking it should be ok for chaeto too.

My chaeto floats at the top of the water... is this ok or should I weight it down with a piece of LR?
You may not be able to see them in the fuge, and no there is no need to feed them, they will eat things that come through the fuge in the water column.

The chaeto is supposed to float, no need to weigh it down.

Most folks run their fuge lights during the time their tanks lights are all off to keep a more stable pH. If your parameters are not 100% spot on leaving the light on 24/7 might start to cause you algae issues.
