Torch coral care

Hey guys. So my tank has been running sucesfully for 4 months now. I bought a torch coral frag (about half an inch) around 2 months ago. I do not see a difference in growth. Even if it grew it grew very little. Is there anything i can do to speed the growth? my parameters are normal and my sg is at 1.025. i do not dose since my tank is so small. i do a water change every 2 weeks around 20 percent. I bought my candy canes the same time as the torch and the candy is already splitting into two!! all my corals are growing, my mushrooms are splitting, but this torch doesnt seem to be growing. I moved it today because it was too close to my ricordia and it felt like it stung me cause i touched it. it is in very low flow. i have a nova extreme current usa 2 18w lighting. It should be strong enough. So what can i do? O and also if i remove the pressure plug from my powerhead it will provide alot more flow! should i remove it. it almost looks like the water is splashing when i take it out

Torch Corals like medium to high flow, but you don't want to blast it directly with a powerhead.

You need to feed him at least once a week it will help a lot. You can feed him mysis shrimp and use a turkey baster to feed him.

You are better off with medium flow. High flow usually causes problems. Torches are harder to keep than hammers and frogspawn. Also I am not sure if 36w is enough lighting.

Lol what is your secret. Of all my lps, excluding brains, my torches grow the slowest. -___- really wished it would grow faster.
