This morning I look in my DT and all the snails that are usually on the LR that I can see are on their backs and not trying to right themselves. They aren't dead. Lights were still off and I leave the two power heads off at night just relying on the recirc pump. any ideas

Do you have Clown fish? They sometimes knock my snails off the rock in my tank.

mine used to do that too and i used to flip em over and replace the ones that didnt make it, then after i noticed they were reproducing i stopped... i still lose some that my hermits and shrimp clean up but they are quickly replaced by the baby snails. hopefully you have as much luck and your dummies dont reproduce :)

Astrea snails can't get up. I read that evolution didn't took care about that because in their natural environment there are no rocks to fall off. I have to quite agree, I've seen them hanging on turtle grass where there were no rocks, but they can still fall down on the sand. My blenny don't give mine time to think when they fall near his cave:)
