So I got a bubble coral 2 days ago. I acclimated by floating the bag for about 30 minutes and then drip acclimated for another 30 mins. I started by placing it in my sandbed in a pretty low flow area. Unfortunately, I popped a few bubbles in transit, however the rest of it looks pretty good. I know how delicate these corals are, however, I still haven't found quite the right place in my tank for it. I have been spot feeding it since I got it. Does anyone have some suggestions to making the best home for this coral.

sounds like a lot of moving around for a coral you only had in your tank for 2 days.

I completely agree. I moved it twice since putting it in. I thought that would be less catastrophic than the constant stress that the excess flow would provide.

Could I spot feed it for a while to help rehabilitate it. I have read that a good way to feed is once the coral is closed for the evening. Is this correct information?

I personally wouldn't try feeding it yet. Let the coral get use to your tank for awhile. Keep it out of high light and high flow and the coral should bounce back pretty quickly. I use to keep mine on the sand bed towards the back of my tank where the lighting and the flow is not as strong.
