Hello,
I'm looking to upgrade my dual lamp lighting so I can take on hard corals at some point in the future.
As a beginner I am getting confronted with many terms I simply just don't know enough about.
And before I plunk down big cash on something so critical to hard coral growth I'd like to know what is what.
Some things that get me are MH, Actinic, 6 bulb, 8 Bulb, T5, ledetc etc.
Now I imagine some of these things are inclusive like having a MH 6 bulb Actinic???? maybe? Who knows.
And some of these are exclusive as in an MH can not be Actinic and vice versa.
Anyway if anyone knows good websites to read up on these things please clue me in.
Or it anyone wants to plunk down some key terms, a description of what it is, and how relevant it is to growing soft coral and hard corals that would be huge!
