Not sure if your reading on Phosphates is too high. On my Salifiert test kit, I think ( I may be wrong), this reading can be high. Can you check on this.
I do know for my reef tank, if Phosphates get too high, corals can die. Again, not sure about your situation, just thought that maybe you to check it out.
