sump help

so i got a new tank today and iam looking at sumps now i was wondering if this would work even though its rated at 550 gph and 55 gallons and my tank is 57 gallons and rated at around 600 is it worth the extra money to get the bigger model also how are these sumps are they alot better then the eshopps rs models that i was also looking at?

build your own refugium... easy and will cost less.
or you can see if Custom King can help you out with a custom sump.
realistically What you need is really more dependent on pump and what the overflow would be rated for.

If u gonna do a 55g go wit a 20 long as a sump. Im jus sayin since this is the way im going wit on my 55g

U kan get a 20 long for 40 bucks from ocean gallery n buy 2 sheets on plexi glass at home depot to build ur sump. Your gonna spend 80 bucks in total u do the math. Each plexi glass is 20 bucks but i dont really kno the dementions on the plexi glass. But if the plexiglass says 20 bucks then its that one lol.
