Hey guys and girls,

I think I just messed up big.
Just had a new mh light bulb.
grabbed my fixture, put it in and left for the day. (phoenix 14k DE)

Now i left it on all day, this was in the beginning of the day. and the next day,
I look at my corals. everything is closed!
Looks like some palys/zoas are throwing up. monti turned white. etc.

So i realize I put in a new light bulb!
grabbed some eggcrate, raised the fixture a few inches, and put mesh under the eggcrate.
the lower ones are now open, zoas/ palys / mushrooms etc.

so now. a few days later, a few of my favorite zoas arent opening!!!!
Jeez, Chong bongs, blue devil palys, whammin watermelons, pink and golds, rose nebs,
vivid rainbows, rainbow monti, AOG, pink zoas, green zoas- no name but I like em!

still closed, anything I can do to help them out?
Ugh, what a bonehead move.
:smash:-

Reduce your lighting cycle by three hours and buy some Lugo's iodine and dose half the daily recommended dosage. Give them about a month or so, and then start to raise your light cycle back up half an hour a week until you're back on schedule.
