Extreme pro under canopy?

Hi guys, my question is can I run a current extreme pro under a canopy? It's sitting on wood block inside, on sides of canopy. The back of the canopy is open and the top has spaces between wood planks. I am also planning on drilling a hole on both sides. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I run my tek in a canopy with no problems I do see why not

as long as there is enough room to vent..the fans on that light are on the side so it could keep a lot of heat it if ample room for vent is not provided. Adding additional fans would not be a bad idea either maybe in reverse blowing the hot air away from the tank.
