I shut the MP10 off to feed and didn't realize that my bicolor blenny was still inside the wetside munching on algae and after feeding was over I turned on the MP10 and a liveless blenny shot out of it. RIP homie.
So I just killed my Blenny.

Well within about 20 seconds of me watching him to see if he would start swimming around again, 2 hermits and a nassaurius started picking at him and I scooped him out and gave him a proper burial... down the toilet

i know that the mp40 have a standby mode where the pump still run but at a very low speed.. doesn't the mp10 have that as well?

OMG the same thing happen to me but my algae blenny survived lol. I shut my mp40w as I was doing a water change and I didn't look at the wet side to see if it was clear, when i turned it back on I got an obstruction error. Looked in the propeller I see uncle benny lifeless, so I took him out and placed him on the frag rack he wasn't moving at all so I gave him 5 mins if he don't move he was going straight to the toilet turned next thing u know he just started swimming around like nothing happened lol Crazy fish

That really sucks. As soon as I put my rkII on standby my goby goes right in there and starts tearing apart the algae. I have a sticker right next to my rkII standby button that says rompope, the name of my hectors goby.

I started just turning it off when I got the upgraded MP10 blender controller because of the same reason....

I also have a sticker on my algae cleaner, "DONT TOUCH!" for my ocd friends and family who come over. I'm not risking scratches.
