yes you do, thats evap water which as it evaps ur salinity goes up, your not doing a wc by adding ro\di water for top off, i go through 5g of top off every 3 days
As noob said your not removing anything from the tank by adding top off water. The whole point of doing WC's is to remove the byproducts of the nitrogen cycle as well as other contaminents that build up in the water. The salt doesn't evaporate so your salinity goes up as evaporation occurs. If your not using an auto top off system than your much better off adding a little water every day instead of waiting till it's noticeable.
My 65 setup with sump evaps about a gallon/day which I manually make up with RO/DI till I finish my ATO setup.
