whats better for 75 gal?

probably about the same (I use both), BUT drop in actually requires MORE space...hose is not really 'bendable', so you can't just place the unit 'anywhere' you want!

i like inlines because you dont have to have another pump in the way but then you have do deal with separate temp probes and the big cooling arm

Like Albano said, drop-in's are cool as long as you have adequate space for the coil and chiller.
I myself have a drop-in and love it.
