Recently set up my 150 gallon tank and was told by LFS to use all flex plumbing instead of hard pipe, for the last month i have tons of microbubbles, have turnes protein skimmer off and still have the same amount, have a 40 gallon refugium which its petrfectly clear, the pump is a 1270 coral life brand new, if there's anyone on long island that would not mind helping im on the north shore, miller place, willing to pay for help, sorry for long message and thank u :confused:

When I built my 155, I used all hard line with 2 clear rubber (non flex) hoses. I had read that the flex tubing causes micro-bubbles. I have none at all.
What I would try is to tap the flex tubing and then look at the returns in the tank and see if more come out. I believe you will see it. Let us know.
