I am selling my Reef Octopus Hurricone protein skimmer. I only used it for 8-months before switching out skimmers because of a full basement/maintenance room installation. I had it operating on a 225 gl. total volume SPS tank and can easily handle a heavy bio-load up to 250-300 gls. It runs with an Askoll 1500 pump.
It is like new condition and given a full vinegar base. It operated great while in use. It is in plug-n-play setup and ready to use. It has a 1" intake feed and will require a feed pump to operate.
Asking $400 with local pickup preferred. I am willing to travel 30-45 minutes to delivery. It is somewhat impractical to ship. I have all original fittings and comes with original box.
