Moving- selling everything by friday!

Sorry everyone- I was dealing with movers all day. I will get back to everyone and update the list of available items within the next hour.

Quickly, this is how it will go down: I have to be out of my apartment by the end of Friday. I will go with the waiting list for tomorrow, and then it is first come on friday. I'm sorry, but I really have no means of holding anything past then because the tank will have to come down. All I really care about is that all my organisms end up with a happy home.

Okay everyone here's the deal. I have to do this quick, and I can't really afford to have someone flake out on me. As it turns out, I have to go meet with the moving company on Friday, and may not be available for part of the day. I was working up a waitlist for tomorrow (taking forever with a very distracting 3 week old son), and then first come on Friday, but I don't want to get screwed. It seems to make more sense to do first come tomorrow. I will be up by 9:00 and people can come by anytime. I'm on west 114th street between Broadway and Amsterdam. Call me first if you want something specific so I can tell you if I still have it, but I won't hold anything. It sucks to do it this way, but it is probably best for the animals involved. I am going to run the wait list on the fish, just because of how difficult they will be to catch without first removing the rock. I'll contact everyone who was first in on the fish

This may upset some, but after getting numerous solicitations to sell #11 (truely a beautiful piece) by paypal for $200+, I have upped the price accordingly. It’s not my fault- its just capitalism at its best/worst (you can decide). It’s simply a collision of scarcity, the forces of supply and demand, and my son’s college fund. I had no choice really.

I agree that it is not the best way to do things, but I'm not sure that saying you will take it if the price is lower and then claiming that you are first in line is that cool either. If it was the waitlist system you were not on it. It was never "your piece" as you call it. Inkblue was the first to say that he wanted it for the listed price, and to be honest, if he is the first to show up, I'll give it to him for $150. If not, everyone seems to want the piece, so it seemed to make sense.

you set your prices at what they are at and what you listed them you dont change them around once you've got like 3 interested people ... plain and simple there's not much to understand no offense.

Through this past month alone comming from Reef central i totally understand this community is tight an interlocked "extended family" selling for whats best for the community and not whats best for yourself. I suggest you go post on RC.

But if you would check & respond to your PM's....you would see your "wait-list" & what I stated.

We obviously see things opposite as far as selling or trading.
So honestly, I don't care if you sell it for $50 now. I wouldn't want to do business.

No lost to me.

Everyone here respects the order of which we post.

Obviously it's something personal now, if your willing to sell it to the next person at the original price.

Thing is.....you're doing it in a public site & most will see the way you are handing your sale.

I had movers come today, and it isn't 2 days. Anyone can check when the original post was and see that. As for the PMs, Ink blue PM'd at 1:40 saying he wanted it for $150- you were at 2:04. Again, not first. Inkblue is the original. It is nothing person, it is just the facts. I'm sorry to have offended you- I'm sure you are a cool guy that just wanted the coral. My apologies for the misunderstanding. It was generated by my lack of response today to pms and postings, and for that I am sorry.
