Just ordered this clam from www.reefscience.com and unfortunately i was under the impression it was 4-5". When i opened the box i was shocked to see how big this clam is. The shell is about 6-7" wide! I really don't want to keep a clam this big, i thought the entire clam with mantle open was 4-5".
I paid 69.00 plus shipping and box charge, asking $78.00, which is the clam and box charge, i will eat the shipping. This is a really great looking clam but too big for my tank.
