question, ive never had a chalice...whats the exact conditions needed for the hollywood stunners and how difficult is it to keep

please give an honest answer and not one just to sell, not saying you will but some people on here will tell you what you want to hear to make some money

Bob will definitely give you an honest answer man.
Chalices typically require low to moderate light and flow. It depends on the chalice though. They're not terribly difficult to keep, IMO. About the same as a "typical" LPS. Good, stable water quality is big as well.

my quality is fairly stable the only thing that swings a little is my salinity....between 1.025 and 1.027.....because I dont have an ATO and do top offs manually

PH has been at 8.3 for about a month and a half, prior to that it was at 8.2 for a month but once i added more powerheads the surface agitation went up so no real swings there

Ammonia/Nitrite has been at 0 since I finished cycling 3 months ago

the only thing that I do have is Nitrates around 15-20ppm but it stays about there, when i upgrade my skimmer it will go down a bit

current lighting is PCs and I'm upgrading within the month to LEDs

although my tank has been up for about 2years now im still a newbie
i think this chalice is the easiest and fastest growing to keep if you look at my video of my tank you can see i have four colonies grown
i have other chalices but they dont grow anywhere as fast as this one
this thing grew under t5s but under leds they took off and glow very nice with leds

thanks eric how is your tank now ?
