My loss your gain, I never got to finish this project due to lack of knowldge & funds I was so close ... & then moving the tank i sorta chpped a edge ( perhaps someone woould like to buy it ffor thier project , anyway. I'm going to release my items they are New never used unless stated. First in line is the Skimmer ....

MRC 2 Skimmer - bought it , took it out of the box & never used it.
it's on the market for $380, i'll let it go for $290

150 gallon tank, I'll take consideration - the tank was bought used, it has it's minor scratches, it's got 3 side Star Fire glass & the corner portion that is broken is the back which is double glass protected. Silicone was being reenforced in the inside with BLACK SILICONE * I have 3 or 4 tubes that will come with the tank. you may look at my link for pictures... This could be someone's project. The tank is Euro braced the back top needs to be placed once the overflow ( which i have is placed * snug fit ). All holes are drilled for the oceansmotions & returns.

how many pounds are the bags of sand, my brother is starting a 40 soon and that seems like an interesting substrate to use

i think i would need 3 bags for ~3" sand bed(66lbs would make 3") but thats before i factor in the eggcrate underneath etc

sounds fair, maybe interested in bulkheads too, my brothers tank is acrylic so im concidering just drilling a bulkhead rather putting in a full overflow...maybe ill make a preskimmer atleast for him
