WTT 2x MP10 es w for an MP40 es w

Well I cannot get my MP10's to stick thru the 1/2" glass of my new tank. Looking to trade for an MP40. The mp10s are the latest gen es w, bought them new 3 months ago and still have boxes and registration info etc. Looking for a relatively new MP40 es w. Would also be interested in a pair of mp20s if someone has those lying around.

I'm up on 133rd but willing the travel to meet up,

Totally would trade you too but my tank has a 1/2" thick glass too. I have a MP 40 es W about 3 month old too. Do you have the rubber spacer inside or outside the tank?

Not using any spacer, even tried setting up the cable ties to hold it in place. Just doesn't want to hold.

use a dab of silicone itll hold it and if you need to remove it itll come off easy.. i have an mp10 on my 92g i had to do that.. its been running for 6 mo. no problems

So if I hold the dry size firmly in place with my hand I still cannot get the wetside to stick and run normally, gave it many tries. Although I was able to get this to work during my fresh water test.

Slipping problem right? Where it catches a inch or so down so the wet side can't run?

Yep that sounds about right. The wetside doesn't want to align right with dry and they almost repel each other and then it slips. I can try adding the spacer tonight when I get home. if you think that could help

It's my understand that those spacers are for tanks smaller than 3/8" but I will give it a try anyway.

Well I secured my mp10s to the back glass using the provided cable ties and a little bit of silcone between the pump and the glass. I also took apart my wetside and gave it and vinegar bath and cleaning. Put everything back together like new. The wetside will stick for a few seconds but then falls off no matter what I try.

I'm ready to give up and use my koralia evos or get a 40. Would be happy to trade these for an MP40 or sell them for $200 firm. These worked 100% normally on my 40g breeder just doesn't want to do it on this tank .
