I need to get rid of the contents of my 40g breeder ASAP. everything in it is free. unfortunately, the tank is fairly severely neglected and has a pretty bad hair algae problem and a fair deal of cyano. I just haven't had the time to care for it properly.

inside if around 40-50 lbs (or more, never weighed it) of live established rock. most is over 2 years old. as well as the hair algae there is some pretty red macro algae on it. most are interesting shapes, none are unsightly boulders. I also have an extra 20 or so pounds of dry marco rock in my basement you can have for free. use it or sell it for a profit, I don't care. i just need it gone.

also inside the tank should be 1 large red serpent star, 1 smaller harlequin serpent, and 1 red bristle star. all are well bahaved, none have ever given me trouble with my fish.

coral is a mix of LPS and soft corals. some are bleached/struggling. most are in decent shape but feeling the lack of water changes.

there is also a very friendly little falco hawk who has always been fairly peaceful with his tankmates and will eat ANYTHING you choose to feed him.

for $400 I'm also selling the equipment, which are:
250watt clamp-on viper MH with built on fan and 20K bulb
octopus hang-on 100BH-F skimmer (has a chamber for heaters and chemical filtration as well)
heater (marineland 150watt, I think)
several koralias (1, 2, and possibly a bunch of spare 3's if I can find them)
enclosed back tank stand (can find link to model on request)

all equipment was bought new 2 years ago

I need to get rid of this pretty quickly, it's taking up space and I don't have time to look after it. email [email protected] if interested to arrange pickup. price on equipment is semi-negotiable.
