My Palythoas colony had the great idea of growing on top of coralline which is "plating" in my tank.
As a result a nice large head was separated from the rest. It is about the size of a quarter.
Who wants it? It is very hardy (came with the live rock from "Bali Alor", lived through the cycle, and through Sandy).
It does not have a fancy name but the heads become huge and a very nice green. (you can call it "Kicks Sandy's butt"-paly if you want).
To be picked up, close to Gramercy park.
The main colony (note that the fluorescence was lost after Sandy, but no doubt will come back... it was initially three very tiny whitish polyps) is behind the polyp I am giving.
