Thanks for the nice comments. All PM's responded to. I've gotten more than a few requests on parts, I'm not entirely opposed to parting out but the livestock would have to go first I guess if I'd do that. I'm most concerned about the blue tang, I've had him for over a decade and want to see him get into a nice big home. I mostly designed the rockwork for him as he can swim 360 around it and is does laps all day ;) If people are interested in parts tell me and if I reach a critical mass I'll start to look into parting it all out.

Ok after a ton of PM's interested in various components here's the deal... I will sell off all the livestock and then worry about the equipment to make it easier for all involved. To answer a few questions about how t is all put together there is a manifold off the Laguna that has 4 union ball valves and a gate valve. One line goes to the the frag tank turned refugium. The refuge is plumbed via a uniseal into the side of of the Proflex sump. It sits on a custom built sheet PVC, same stuff as the under sand support plate, which raises it so in a power off situation it is a tiny bit higher than the sump's highest point. It all works very well. The overflow is a herbie with a valve between the overflow and sump intake with dual filter socks, I'm throwing in a bunch of those two.

They feed the main return to the Seaswirl, the frag tank, the UV and the TLF reactor. One has a gate valve inline for the TLF so it has better fine control.

The slideshow pic is pretty cool

Thanks, I was having trouble explaining to people the whole concept of this thing and how it all was going to come together so I did the stills and the animated gif to save explaining the whole thing. I says it all pretty much how it all goes together ;) When I first thought of doing the sheet PVC base thing I couldn't find anyone who had done it this way, lots of people use starboard, but I wanted something thick enough and strong enough to drill and to glue PVC rod into that would afford me to do cool structures. The sheet pvc is a bit expensive and heavy, that base is probably 40+ lbs, so I can see why it isn't commonly used for this purpose. It came out better than I hoped it would mostly because with no one else doing it before me to model it on I was doing it blind. My whole concept was to have as little rock sitting on the bottom as possible and only have one mp40 on the back glass and a Seaswirl as the only flow and it works perfectly, the whole tank from side to side has a strong undertow. Also there is I rock near any glass, even the back soothe fish can swim 360 around the rockwork, even the big tang. There is probably less than one square foot of rock touching the sand, so maybe 90% open sand.

Eta - there are holes drilled in the sheet PVC near the front for future expansion, the hammer on the sand near the bottom right side is on a small rock with hold drilled into it. A peg made from a fiberglass rod sticks into the PVC and prevents it from tipping over. It makes it look like the rock would have been a ledger one buried deep in the sand to support the hammer that large.

Ok rocks being pulled out and placed in brute with powerhead and heater to keep it in good shape so if someone wants the rock and the PVC base to go with it that is a possibility. I've tried to keep up the PM's but there have been so many so if I don't respond just remind me, sorry. I've told a few people that I don't mind shipping some of the smaller things but at this point I don't have a minute to start dropping things off at the post office so bear with me ;) After the livestock is all gone ill try to get going on those things.

PM's replied to. The both shrimp are sold.

I also found a new unopened bag of Tropic Eden Reef Flakes $30

An old Wavy Sea programable wave maker that works but is kinda flakey to be honest, it's a cool device for someone who want to mess with it. $75

PM's replied and separated out the SWC cone skimmer and adjusted prices.

I'll post some photos later.
SWC cone 160 with 6month old modified impeller & extended collection cup an inch taller and holds more than 2x's as much skimmate which is good because with the taller cup and modified impeller it can produce lots of gunk(original cup included too as spare) original box as well...
$220
