2- 175W Coralvue 14K MH

A friend of mine bought the wrong lights for his tank last month and ran 175W bulbs on a 250W ballast. He realized about 3 weeks later they were wrong.

I don't want to sell bad bulbs, does anyone know if they are still okay? Anyone want to by them cheap... They still work and at least will be good backup lights in case your good ones blow. Some light is always better than no light.

$30 per bulb if the 250W ballast didn't harm them. Cheaper if people confirm that they did.

it would damage them after a while. running a lot more power through a bulb is not good for it. can't confirm how much damage though. are these de or se?

I am interested.. anybody have any information regarding damage to the bulbs. I am concerned that the color has been severly effected (or is that affected...i can never get that straight)

I'm surprise the bulbs were blown...

They are single ended bulbs. I can't comment on the color as the atinics they ran with were very old.
