Live rock

Copiague, long island, pickup only. I had this rock in my tank for 5-7 years and it is a mix of Caribbean, figi and tonga. Also 3 gallons of medium sized rubble. It is enough to fill and scape a 75 gallon tank. I paid 9 -11 dollars per pound. There is about 100 pounds of rock here. I am selling the whole lot at one time for $300. Is it dried ? if it is then its no longer live rock .. But you got a nice piece of rock good luck ..

my god here comes the nit pickers. some people bake there rocks in an oven prior to putting in there tank. some people put it in a dark room and tank and let everything die off any way. some people bleach it in the sun and then some people put it in there tanks completely new with out quarantining. any way it still live rock,. this is not made with cement. or fake in any way. please do not hate on my thread because i am offering such a good deal.

It's not nit picking..sorry. Live implies that it's cycled and cured and ready to be dropped into a tank without causing another cycle. You are selling previously live dry rock. Still a good deal. GLWS

I just read the tittle of your thread it say live rock but when I open it it looks like dried rock so I ask you .. If its dried ??? That's all !!! I'm not hating your thread I'm just asking .. Once again good luck .. Consider this as a bump on your thread .. Peace ..

nice rock pretty good price. but nit pickers was not a good thing to say. he was just saying it was once live rock. (now dead rock) so it has to recycle in a tank. cause its not coming straight out of your tank into ours.
