FS: 48" Aqua Spacelight / $600

aquaspacelight.jpg

I purchased two of these in Silver this past september from Fish Expo for $1,000 each. I am now switching to a 60" fixture (from Cool Touch).

48" Aqua SpaceLight Fixture with 2 x 250W 10,000K HQI Double Ended Metal Halide Bulbs and a 150W 20,000K HQI Double Ended Metal Halide Bulb in the center.
UV Inhibitor Glass Lens
95% reflective Reflector focuses light into the tank
Low Profile - 3.2" High and 12" Wide

The AquaSpaceLight features a one-piece extruded aluminum profile that offers structural stability and ensures vibration-free operation. The specially-designed polished reflector does an excellent job of evenly lighting the entire aquarium. The silver powder coat finish is ultra durable and looks great!

i keep getting different ppl want them, and then stall and stall and then not take them.

boy, so time consuming.

it is funny because when i listed them for $700, i got offers for $600. when i finally dropped my price to $600, the offers came in for $500. Now i dropped all the way to $500, and the offers come in for $400, it is like a joke.

But i have decided not to sell them for a dollar less than $500, so it is firm. If anything, i will probably list it back up for $600, and give it to the guy that offers me $500, i just dont like those kinds of games.

disclaimer: this is in regards to RC. I never have problems with ppl like that on MR.

he he, well my bill is due to many other things in my house as well.

With all the lights on, you are looking at 750W, multiply that by your rate and you can see what it will cost you (check your latest electric bill). If you are paying say $0.12/KWH then you are looking at .75KW*$0.12=$0.09/hour or about $0.75/day if they run 8hrs a day.

check your rate though, i am not sure what it is, i made up the $0.12. I would check my bill, but i am on a different plan.
