This is the standard size model for $150, comes with media & instructions. Measures 16" tall with a 7" base diameter:

Both models showing size difference:

Reef Octopus BR-140 pellet reactor for $150, measures 21" tall with a 7.18" x 7.18" base:

I'm located in CT but do head into Queens, LI & NYC on occasion. I can probably find boxes to ship but that total cost is on the buyer.
Thanks for looking.

Pete,

I forgot to answer one of your questions on the XL reactor.
You have to start these type of reactors @ 1 effluent drip per second until the output is at zero N03. Usually this takes about 4 weeks time on average. You then increase the output rate to lets say 3 drips per second and say test it a week later. If you see some N03, you need to let it stay at that rate until you get to a zero output again. Then you bring it up to 6 drips per second and stabilize it at that rate.
Seeding the sulfur with bacteria will help shorten the break in period.
