This sale is for new unopened bags right?

No, He broke down his tank, and the sand is what's left so far.

live sand will not last in a bag for 2 years, their is an expiration date on live sand if it is not used in 9-12 months before the live organisms dies.

I got some nice stuff from carby, I would recommend buying the sand. You would probably want to rinse it if you're putting it into an existing tank

Not to be a bum on the sale or anything but I would NOT recommened BUYING this sand. First off because once the sand is mixes it's going to basically poison itself, so the sand is dead. If you are going to take this sand wash it thoroughly whether it's going into a new tank or an existing tank.
