Hi every one! Helping a friend of mine to sell his vortech mp10 pump, its manufacturing date is 3/17/2017,its serials number is 73261718401208. He purchased it on 6/25/2017 from pacific aquarium in Chinatown, and using it for nearly 1 month till he upgraded his system.the model basically looks as brand new. He paid for $300 and let go for $175, no trade n pickup in lower east Manhattan . Thanks! 9177564758. John.

I bought this pump it was cheap because it is so loud at 50% this was never mention. Now this guys won't give me my money back. If I knew it was this loud I would not have bought it. I wouldn't deal with John70 again

selling this pump for friend who don't speak English, pump was made by March 2017,he purchased it from pacific aquarium on june,2017, pump works good as I have tested it in front of him in his basement before he pay on 7/11, my friend got the money second day morning, but buyer called for return 4 days later on 7/15 said the pump is noisy, my friend rejected immediately cuz he said the pump was working good when he brings to me on 8/9,he said he didn't know what's happening to the pump during the 4 days. I try to make a compromise in between them,but my friend only sent me the recipe of the pump, and let me tell buyer that he can call vortech for a new one by using this recipe and serial number as pacific aquarium guy told him, I texted the buyer back, but this morning(8/16) he already give me a bad review!!! Show this bad review to my friend now he agreed to return the money back to me ,too late...who's fault?

if you tested the pump in front of him and he walked out the door. then its certainly not your fault the pump was too noisy for his taste.

Thanks brooklyreefer and aznt, when I showed the bad review to my friend yesterday and he bring the money back right away and said he didn't expect that happened and feel so sorry,now I got both the recipe and the money, buyer can take either one, but my own credit dropped from 100% to 83%, sad...

Both of y'all build a bridge and get over it its done. You got a crazy deal on a used pump under warranty. Just send it for service. Other guy thats what happens when your the middle man. Your friend should have sold himself or created MR account.
