FS/FT Remora Pro + Mag3

I'm looking to sell/trade my Remora Pro + Mag3 for $170. It is 6 months old. I'm looking for an upgrade, anyone doing a downgrade? Cash or trade, if trading, i'll make up the difference with cash. Thanks

Boy I want to change my protein skimmer to the Remora Pro with the Mag3 but I want to get the one with the spout on it. I think you have to buy it with the spout from the beginning and you can't add the spout.

marrone, do you mean the drain of the collection cup? i'm sure you can drill one yourself if you're handy.

I probably could as it's just a spout in the side of the collection cup but I'm not sure if I want to take a chance and have it leak.

Also does the Mag3 pump throw off alot of heat, I'm a little worried that it will make my tank hotter.

Oh, i was wondering what spout you talking about. Actually the collection cup is pretty big. So, you don't have to empty very often.

As for the heat issue, i don't see much difference with and with out it. I had it on a 90 gallon + 20 gallon sump tank.

I would really like to have the spout as it's very hard to reach the back of my tank to get at the skimmer and because of that I never empty the cup until it's so filled that it's clogged up.

Let me look at the collection cup, on mine at home, and see if it's that hard to put in a spout without breaking the thing.
