Hey Everyone,

I'm in the process of building a stand and Canopy for a nano set up. The stand & top will fit the following tanks:

15 gallon - 24 x 12 x 12
20 HIGH - 24 x 12 x 16
30x 24 x 12 x 24

The build / Finish of the set-up will be similar to the 55 gallon build I just did. see picture:

I'm looking for $350.00 for both stand & Canopy. This will also be a pick-up in Staten Island.

Wish it was for a 58G. I hate my Oceanic stand and especially the canopy!!

Your canopy's look great! I like how just the front swings up. The Oceanic canopy I have is not well built. Once I put my T5's in it, it could not support the weight and the canopy started to seperate.

Anyhow, NICE work!

Pm'ing you:ANYWORD:

Thanks for everybody's complements ,
I have been getting alot of Pm pricing requests for stands & canopies. Seems like everyone feels it's kinda expensive, I'm sure if anyone looking for a custom stand / canopies that have been searching around will find I am beating their price big time, I am trying give MR members the best price I can
without short changing myself. Another option [which would be cheaper] is if you already have a established tank that you wouldn't want to break down and then set back up [ pending it is on a standard iron stand ] is build a skirt for it, in which I can buid it to look like a wood stand. just an Idea.

I paid around $800.00 with tax for my Oceanic stand and canopy(36"). You quoted me $925.00 for the same size in red oak. The Oceanic is a POS, as I said in my other post. My Oceanic canopy started to fall apart after I put my lights in it. Oceanic won't honor there warranty because I had to router a 1/2" of wood to fit my lights into the canopy, therefore it's "altered" and voids the warranty.
The Oceanic stand is bowing downward dead center in the front. I have placed shims in the void, but I know it's just a bandaid. I'm worried about the tank cracking. I have not called them on the bowing yet. They would probably just offer me another stand, but I don't want it:banghead: .

Anyhow, your prices are reasonable because your paying for craftsmanship. I'm not sure I can do the $925.00 right now, but it's not because of your price, it's because of my pocket:ANYWORD: . I just picked up a $530.00 skimmer:bigeyes2: . But, I'll definitely order just the canopy for now.

Stand & Canopy is available, Sale fell through.....Wife:fishhit:

$350 for stand & Canopy

This would have to be a pick -up in Staten Island New York. It will have a Med brown stone look finish with white accents {rim of stand }
It will look similar to a 55 gallon set up I just did---see picture: it is not painted yet, so if you want it I can match the color of the 55 gallon set -up, it's a lighter beige.

Thanks
