Nassarius Snails For S-A-L-E $1

The Nassarius Snail is a wonderful reef tank scavenger. These snails have a trunk-like tube they extend from their curved shells in order to hunt down food. The Nassarius will often times bury itself into the sand bed and wait until it senses food in its vicinity. They are good at keeping the top layer of the sand bed stirred up without damaging microfauna. They are great at removing detritus, uneaten food, and waste from the bottom of aquariums.

a, Pick up is the jersey city area, 5-10min from the holland tunnel (depending on traffic)

b, i will not ship out during the cold weather, ($8 ups ground, takes one day) unless you take the full risk

Pick up is today....here some more info about this snails

Most of the snails available for fish tanks really aren't great reef inhabitants, mostly because they tend to fall over, fail to right themselves and die. I much prefer Nassarius snails as they actually keep the sand bed clean, which in turn will likely reduce that source of "nutrients" you are looking for. Algae eating snails rarely keep up with demand
