I was over at Pacific yesterday and spoke with one of the guys working there and he said unless you "have to have one" wait 6 to 9 months and once enough people are vaccinated then Hawaii will open up again and they'll be about $100, he said that they won't go back to $75.pacific has one 4-5" for $400, normally they sell for $75
Just too many people trying make a quick buck.I know man prices are crazy live aquaria just had them for $459 which I thinks insane I’ve seen them
Upwards of $700 this hobby isn’t what it was unfortunately.

NY Fish and Coral has purples for $99. Same as Michael's in Yonkers, in case you're interestedThat’s actually great news, I thought Hawaii was closed because of the over fishing, killing, and people even eating the yellow tangs that’s why they closed it from divers and the public etc. When this tang was a little smaller he was fine but I feel bad because I downgraded tanks temporarily and he’s gotten bigger so I figure I’d sell him and get a small one again or a purple small which are also somehow $500-$800 everywhere but like petco.com lol which is insane imo and if someone’s interested in the tang I can be reasonable I just want a good home for it and to get my money back for what I paid for it tbh I’m not about the hustle movement that’s ruining this hobby, I’ve been a reefer for 25 years I briefly got out like 5 yrs ago and it’s a whole new game now, torches for $1000 like what?!?! lol but anyway just looking for someone who wants one and has a large enough tank because I actually set the tank up he’s in just because I felt mine was too small.
Yeah, really don’t know where your getting pricing from? That’s actually great news, I thought Hawaii was closed because of the over fishing, killing, and people even eating the yellow tangs that’s why they closed it from divers and the public etc.

Yeah I'm in Chappaqua and it is super easy to get to. Your GPS will take you to a Uhaul place, it's actually right next to it. If you do go then just give him a call when you get there and he'll guide you the rest of the wayStates island thats a ride for me
I’m in westchester but I’m gonna sure go to Michael I appreciate the tip. Happy reefing

Not positive, but I don’t think that the ‘Hawaii ban’ has anything to do with the ‘virus’.... they have been trying for years to pass legislation against the fish collectors. Plus, now that they know that people will pay more, why would they offer them for less.I was over at Pacific yesterday and spoke with one of the guys working there and he said unless you "have to have one" wait 6 to 9 months and once enough people are vaccinated then Hawaii will open up again and they'll be about $100, he said that they won't go back to $75.
