As many of you know, my old friend and long-time hobbyist Greg Schiemer passed away a few months ago. The vast quantities of his aquarium livestock, equipment etc. have been sold, parted-out and donated. All that now remains is his 10' 500 gallon aquarium ( 120" x 30" x 32" ) that his wife needs out of the house ASAP. If anyone has serious interest in a massive tank this is a great opportunity, but there are a few significant catches:
1) The system was built on site and will not fit out the door.
2) You need to have the ability to cut it apart, carry it, and transport it.
3) you need to be able to put it back together.
Any reasonable offer will be entertained, but I am not going to burden his wife with casual interest and unrealistic fantasies. The alternative is to smash this thing to bits and remove it, which is not something she relishes doing for obvious reasons.
Please PM me for more details.
