hm, what was unsuccesful? The ease of extracting the shrimp from the water/rest of the cysts? Or something different?

Anyone who gets a set up like this, if you're worried about that: you can use a small pinpoint light source on 1 section of the bottle and the shrimp will move towards it. Then you can spoon them/use a syringe or pipette to get them up. You should have only the shrimp!

Especially, if your culture is pretty dense.
