This is a brand new, still in a sealed box, Blue Wave III 250w HQI Ballast by sunlight supply.
I purchased three of them last fall and have only used two. While they are HQI ballasts and normally used for double ended bulbs, I use them to overdrive single ended Mogul bulbs.
This is a great ballast, and has the following features.
Vented aluminum enclosure with a blue powder coat finish,
splash proof backlit on/off switch,
high temperature 100 degree capacitor,
rubber feet.
The Ballast also includes a switched 120V A/C outlet, so you can power a cooling fan or other device simultaneously with your light.
Note that this is the ballast only, it does not include the lamp cord or anything else for that matter.
