4 sale one 50lb bag of Dowflake

I have a 50lb bag of Dowflake (77-80% pure)for sale. I bought it off a member getting out of the hobby.
Was going to go the sps route but chose not to load up my tank with crayolas & sticks.:lol2:
asking 15$.
Goes for about 19$ on Buckeye plus shipping and they out of stock

When was the change? In the mean time I'll look for a date on the bag.

apparently before 2007 is ok. I checked the bag and found a date that says 11/19/04

Actually on Reef Central now, Randy Holmes Farley says it's safe. The ppm of bromide in the new dow flake is negligable, something like 2 ppm.

Whoops, it's safe for raising salt mix calcium for water changes, not regular dosing. But he does state he's unsure what elevated level of bromide would actually do in a reef tank. May kill everything or may do nothing.
