48" TX5 5-Lamp T5 - $200

I am selling a 48" TX5 5-Lamp T5 Fixture by Aquactinics.

This is the fixture without the lights. It was in use for 2 years. It is in great condition. The reason I am selling it is because the ballast that controls lights 2 and 4 burnt out. They sent me a new ballast and I reinstalled it. When I first installed it and turned the lights on to test it there was a spark because one of the wire nuts wasn't tight enough. I fixed it and went on to use the lights for three days without any problems. However the fact that I am not an electrician totally freaked me out so I just purchased a whole new system to ease my mind.

If you are interested I advise that you check the wiring to make sure you are satisfied. If you know what you are doing with wiring, this is a great deal, I'm selling this at less than half price new. If you don't plan to check the wiring I advise you not to purchase this.

The reflectors are in perfect shape, there is a new ballast and the only old part is the 1,3,5 ballast.

Also I changed out the fan a year ago for a higher powered one.
