Gerry, we got the bird home clipped his wings and gave him some food at my place. Nice little guy he is. Gonna be a great bird.

The purple polyps are open already, but the pinks are still closed tight. Glad the bird is in good hands.

Gerry it was nice meeting you and your son too. Quagmire was a little shaky coming out of the box the first time, but when we putting him bac in for the trip home to Andres place he was more than happy to hope on anyones finger to get outta there . He's gonna be Andres new attention taker, forget the reef hes gotta little person in a birds body. I was surprised he warmed up so quick to us, I threw some food in the box for him in case he was hungry and he ran right to it. Guess riding in a box gets the best of you. When he gets home to Andres place hes gonna have more than enough space and get more than enough attention. Lots of folks to play with at his place.

Hey guys,
just got in, phew Im tired driving around for 2-3hrs on a bad cold will get to you. The bird's out and about and is really warming up to everyone, he was thirsty as heck, starting drinking up straight from the cup.
Im actually excited about having this lil guy, hes like having my own personal midget. Thanks again Gerry

I think your right, this guy seems like he will be a handful, in more ways than one.

He seemed like a friendly friendly bird once his flight abilities were gone. Makes them warm up quick when their dependent on you for ever single thing. You can see hes gonna be a handful he warmed up to us at my place and that was like in 15 mins lol. Still a little fidgety but jumped on those fingers quick . Don't forget to post some pics of the little guy, to bad my chubby bird wasn't a big fan of the other Quaker in the hizziizzouse . He was cool tho, he frogived me quick for playing with your quaker. Hey and its only right if im the godfather of your little guy

Now Toby just sits in the cage looking at me. Keeps saying "good birdie". Anyway, he'll play with Rosie, and the cage is right next to him, he'll be ok. I just think he doesn't know what to do with the whole cage to himself! I put some chunks of fresh pineapple in the bars, he's staying busy picking them out. Just a treat. Lights out, he says
"bye-bye"
