stand use to have a 150 gal 6 yrs ago had a leak in my 150 had to grab a new 180 to replace it or lose everything i had. Tank is supported at far end. just never got around to extending front of cabinet. Setup has been running for over 6yrs.

actually, for people on that side of the Hudson (Newburgh, Chester, NJ, SI, etc.) this IS considered safe! Should you have a problem, please speak to the building's 'Super', he can fix anything! :splitspin ......................FYI...dubcity IS the manager of a 90 unit complex!............

certain cameras with a 'fish-eye' lens, will often produce this optical illusion. :tub:...but, I believe the stand is recessed in that section. ...............BTW, this thread got a lot of free bumps!

I dont think there was one post of interest for this tank. Ray good to see you still on MR. Its a good site even if you dont have a tank anymore. Albano, did you get 3/4 of a stand from ray, since he is from the other side of the hudson.

this tank used to belong to david copperfield, master of illusion. it only appears that the tank overhangs the stand but in reality, the stand undersupports the tank....... does everyone understand that now....it's only an illusion.

Ok guys there you have it... how said it couldn't be done? ...just got an idea on how to build my next tank lol.
