I thought that was a scam I have seen many similar adds "Yea I'll be up packing all night call anytime" then you call them at 4am and they curse you out saying they never posted that ad. I don't call anyone late regardless of what the add says because it is usually someone trying to F with an ex or something lol.

yes it does happen people do give stuff away that most people would not.and there are a lot of scams out there but its worth a 30 second phone call great way to upgrade cheaply...

My old roommate had this happen to him. His buddies posted an add saying "free 55 gallon fish tank, stand. call this number.." and they posted his cell phone. He had 30 phone calls within a half hour while he was at work. LOL

people do it all the time..1 time someone had an ad for 2 free bearded dragons I responded they gave me an address but no phone # the address was literally 2 mins from somewhere i was just about to leave my house to go to so I figured I would go by and grab them. I get to the house and I'm ringing the doorbell no 1 answers so I'm there a few mins and a neighbor comes out and starts asking me what I'm doing there so I said I was here to pick up lizards from the neighbor and she goes " Was that from craigslist? I'm like "yea" Thinking maybe the person told the neighbor if someone comes they are in the yard or gave them to the neighbor in case they weren't home or something and the lady gets all pissed at me and she's like "it's an erroneus post please leave, it's an erroneus post! I was like oooookay ya fawkin psychoo lol and that was that. There is a million scams out there guys you just have to be logical 99.9% of the time too good to be true is just that and there is a HUGE difference between meeting a guy fishing IN PERSON and a random ad on craigslist.
