Hello:
I have 220+ lbs. of awesome live rock (mostly fiji) available for sale. I am in the process of swapping out my existing 180-gl. Oceanic tank with a custom build 180 gl. and will be adding 150 lbs. of dry rock next week when I do the swap-out.
I am simply changing out the rock because my current rock (that I've had for 7+ years now running successfully) has mushrooms, etc. that have accumulated and I am going 100% sps corals and would like to start with fresh rock. There is NOTHING wrong with this rock. This rock will be awesome for any reef tank IMO. As I mentioned, I have had this rock for over 7 years with NO PROBLEMS; Red Bug and/or any other pests.
I am selling for $3.00/lb. I have a large scale and method to accurately weight the rock at p/u. Unfortunately I have no way to ship, so local pickup only. I am located in lower Westchester/Fairfield County area. Will consider delivering if not too far as well. I have included two pics of my tank that are about 1-year old so you can see the rock. If you want more updated pics and/or additional ones please PM me your email address. I will try to posted updated pics too if I can this w/e.
BTW: My tank parameters are very stable at 9-10 Alk, 470 Calcium, 1350 Mag, 0ppm phos, 2.5-5ppm nitrates and 1.026 salinity. 40 gl. water changes are done every 2-3 weeks.
