large BLUE TIP STAG

I got a frag of this yesterday and its not a frag. Here's a pic and its about 5".



I had problems mounting it because it was so heavy. Tom's colony has gotten so big that its reaching out of the tank. My frag was from a little higher up in the tank so it browned out more (not tips) then the lower branches in tom's tank. His lower branches are bluer and mine has started getting bluer already.

I think it maybe a nobilis. Here is a pic . The pic does not show the tips as being sky blue. The pic make the tips appear white. The stem is 1/2 " thick.

Its the multi branched ones facing the front of the tank. Not the ones going straight up.

BTW, Tom has several awesome stags. Rich when you go out there let me know, I still have to get two more frags from Tom.

After the frag was cut it became darker in color and the tips became darker blue. Not sure why this happened but it actually looks nicer.

Tom I'm sorry but I have a stag like that. I was looking for the really fuzzy kind of stag with the blue tips. Still great color though

Nah don't worry about it. It just got in my tank late yesterday, had serious troubles mounting and my picture taking skillz suck. You can see where it lost color from all the transporation and mounting issues from this pic.



Its already starting to color back up so I'm happy .
