For sale is one 60gal (24"x24"x24") rimless cube by glass cages. The tank has Starfire(!) glass panels on the front and sides (the back panel is traditional glass). The aquarium is reef ready. It has an overflow box constructed of glass, and a black acrylic cover. I have installed an Oceanic overflow rated for 600gpm and threaded bulkheads ready for connection to a sump below. The tank was in service for only a short period of time (9 months).
I have attached a top down photo from before the overflow was assembled, as well as a front on photo of the overflow box with acrylic sheath and overflow assembled. The tank is wrapped in white Styrofoam.
This is a very solid and well made tank. Because the aquarium is rimless, the glass is very thick.
Pickup is in White Plains, NY only (zip code 10601). I cannot deliver under any circumstances. You will need to meet me at a self storage place. I can help you place it in your car (I have glass suction cups).
The tank actually measures a fraction of an inch over 24" in each dimension. Please make sure it fits in your car (a SUV or station wagon is recommended).
The tank is presently wrapped in padded blankets and shrink wrapped to make moving easy. We of course can unwrap it and inspect it closer.
I have all the original paperwork from Glass Cages that goes with the tank.
The asking price is $250.
