Pistol anyone? Check out this son-of-a-gun

This pistol is getting too big for my tank. $10 or nice zoa frags. Be warned. It is a digger. About 2" tip of claw to tail. Very healthy and molts about twice a month. Pick up in manhattan 57th st and 6th avenue.

Albert, I have 2 of these pistol shrimp. Although, I've found several pictures of them on the Internet, they've never been identified any more than Alpheus Sp. Pistol Shrimp

I like them alot. Unfortunately, neither ever paired up with the Shrimp Goby I purchased :banghead: I'm not sure about their origin, but I'd guess, marine :lol:

Hey Alrha. Damn that was a fast reply! Didn't even think to check this thread that soon. Its Howard not Krisby the way! I don't know what species it is either. I didn't have a shrimp goby so I don't know if they'll pair up. If you're still interested, next week is fine.

ok, how big of a rush are you in? if possible, later in the week would be better as i dont really feel like walking around too much in this snow.

No Big rush. As matter of fact, it escaped from it holding container and back into the main tank. Now I have to go back in to get him out. Wish me luck! I'll hold it to next week if you want alrha.

ok great - at least we know he is smart.

This shrimp got balls. It had to climb out of the water to get out of the container! I'll be afraid to turn my back to him. I'll dig it out of its hiding place probably by the end of the week.

Hey Albert. Sorry couldn't get back to you. Been crazy at work and it'll stay that way. I'm getting the shrimp out on Monday. I basically have to tear down half of my tank to get it. I'll let you have him for free. Just come and pick it up sometime next week. I'm just glad somebody'll take it instead of taking it back to the FS.
