I think I agree with looping the manifold into the return on the display but I didn't do it because the manifold is 3/4" not 1" like the rest of the return. Is it better to keep the 3/4" manifold on its own Tee and continue the 1" to the top of the tank? Or better to go from 1" into the 3/4"...

I thought thats what a water break hole was for on the return near the display

I was wondering if I would be better off not Cap'ing the end of the manifold and just run the flow straight through the manifold into the display.
