you can ad a clean up crew as long as you have stuff to clean up, maybe you have some algea on the glass already and stuff like that. but if you have live rock and lights on already then you can add cleaners.

I read some of the reviews you posted!!! thanks, I did have issues with them. but once again I still have the fish they shipped me over a year ago. NUB I wouldn't use my suggestion now that people have come out to dispute them. I don't have enough expirience with them to back them...

hahaha, aquacon sucks huh? I only used them once and they screwed up my order but the fish were healthy!! too funny. I only ordered once online and picked aquacon!!! haha

sorry you lost the fish.... you shouldn't have an ich outbreak if you wait out the display for a month or so and use the qt tank for new additions. I have my qt tank dosed with copper and the salinity the same as my display so there isn't much of a acclimation time when it is time to move them.

or you could keep the salinity level exactly how it is and dose with copper. don't put the cleaner shrimp in the copper tank!!! if the tang is eating regularly and swimming good, you should be ok but if he looks lethargic and loss of appetite you might be in trouble. good luck!

well live and learn, that is all. I disagree with the smaller fish being the better choice. I think that depends I have always thought that the larger the fish the stronger to survive. also you can get your salinity down some at this point to help out how come you don't go buy a skunk...

no problemo, you can have some give me a bottle to fill up I had to dump some out yesterday because I didn't have enough bottles to hold it!!!. it isn't as dark as DT's but i think it is ok, this new batch I will make darker. I used some in my tank yesterday and everything seems fine!

I switched from cc to sand but left some cc on the bottom for filler, the cc has made it's way up to the top somehow, If you want it to look nice just use sand.
