I need some input on lighting designs for my 92g corner tank. I've decided to upgrade from my 2x92w PC lights. I think I can ask my father-in-law who's very handy to build me a hood as a holiday present :)
Being that the tank is in the shape of a quarter circle, I thought of two possible ideas...
I have a little bit of reddish algae (?) growing on the surface of my sandbed. Is that cyano? I've been doing some reading, but still can't decide if that's it. And, I haven't seen any good pictures either to help me determine if it is.
What's the best way to get rid of it? Or, is it...
I have a 92g corner tank.... i.e. the front glass is curved. Can anyone make a suggestion for what I can use to scrape the algae off? Do cleaning magnets work on curved glass?
Thanks,
Lonnie
I read somewhere that you can use rubbing alcohol to clean off the salt creep on a glass canopy because it will evaporate immediately.
Has anyone tried that? Is it safe?
I've tried washing the canopy, using a razor blade etc., to scrape it off, but I just never get it completely clear.
Does...
I have a 92g corner reef tank, that's currently lit by 2x96w 36" PC's... I'm looking to upgrade.
I can't hang any lighting because I'm not very handy like that, but I'm open to any other suggestions.
If anyone else has the same tank as I, I would be curious to learn what they're using too...
