Fergy I am going to be placing a order for some acrylic and pvc parts for another project next week . Can you tell me more about what we will be needing for the skimmer class? A shopping list so to speak . Also I'm not sure really what I will need to do different as far as size and parts go...

Buy yourself a new bit for acrylic and use the old on on the mdf. That whiteside bit is the cheapest 1/4" flushtrim bit. Make sure you wear a breathing mask when routing out that mdf the resin/ glue in it will make you sick. Hope this helps

Would really like a skimmer class this summer .Hopefully a little more advanced in round 2. Besides most of us that are in this class would have to go get new weldon 40 if we waited till after summer ,due to experation on solvent! And we all know that this stuff costs more than the registration...

I made a set of templates out of 1/2" acrylic that I had laying around . I did not use the router . I felt that it would be a good project to try out a cnc mill at my sisters shop. First time ever writing programs . Pretty easy I used 1/4"and a 3/8" double flute bits. Speed was set at 1400 rpm...

O.K. so I won this orbital sander on ebay for $86.00 But so far I still havent found the 9" hook and loop disks for it . Any Ideas?I'm sure there out there ! Thanks Cybershark

The 3/8" sheet sounds pretty fair . The 6 " tube should be .250 wall cast .375 would be overkill. normal price for the tube around me is normaly $22.00 - $24.00 per foot if you buy the whole tube. 5 or 6 foot depending on how made it. Hope this helps you out. Russ

Thats the same problem that im having I tried setting the irc net work to xchat and then to fergusonweldon and I was the only one there. some how we need to all be on a certin sever that isnt working right now or something.

With mirc in the begining it askes you to pick a irc network and since xnet is out. What do I put in its place since it will not allow me to type in this /server216.123.178.7?
