the color combo of bulbs you use can give it a differance appearance in color, the only issue i have seen with leds is most companies dont use enough different color spectrums in their fixtures, i am a t5 fan used them for about 7 years, but i do like leds also, certain colors just seem to do better under other lighting, same for metal halide

The photos are of differing magnifications or closeness to the subject, so it is hard to judge whether the frag grew. Andthe color could simply be an apparent color change brought on by the differing color temperature of the bulbs. Hard to say if the actuall tissue color of the coral changed.

Green means should have more light James

Some people like a little green in the red planet. But if it's all green and dying, if everything is else correct then Raise em up.

What type of LEDs were you using we're they dimmable? How many colors what wattage?
Seem there is a lot of info missing in this post?
I can take that same coral throw it under my Vegas play with the settings of my camera and make it look any way I want to.....for anyone to say that lights are the only variables that make a coral color up you are sadly mistaken.... I've seen a bunch of t-5 tanks that are beautiful I have seen a bunch of led tanks that are just as nice but for people to argue over lighting like its the only reason a coral is colored up or brown is stupid...

I have had leds for over 2 years now and my red planet is bright red . Just because you cant get good colors with led only mean you don't understand how leds work and function. Just because you get color with T5 doesn't mean there's a problem with leds . T5 are straight forward plug them in with a timer and your good, Leds are more complicated , if you don't dim them and run them more then the hour you should will cause lose in color and most likely death .
